Although he has been in this county for over 14 years, Mr. Nati Meir will be named for the first time as godfather for a young Orthodox couple.This event will be a special one because of the association between a Jew, a Gypsy and a Romanian, even though all 3 are Romanian citizens.
Mr. Nati Meir, of mosaic religion, has accepted to be the spiritual guardian of the young Christian-Orthodox Mandache Loredana Gianina, belonging to the rroma community and Brostean Bogdan Marius, of Romanian nationality.
Although the 26th of September 2009, the date of the wedding, is a day of “shabat”(or a day for rest)for Mr.
Nati Meir, he has agreed to be beside the young couple at their civil ceremony, considering it a day blessed by God.
The happy event will take place at the town hall of Barcanesti, Ialomita county, at 12:00.
